The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Car Crash

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The influential video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
