England Team Selection Announced: Jude and Foden Omitted, Saka Makes Comeback

The England manager has opted to stick with the identical Three Lions selection that triumphed against Andorra and produced a stellar performance in Belgrade during the previous international break, finding no place for the Real Madrid star and the Manchester City attacker in his group for the upcoming exhibition match against Wales and the qualifying match in Latvia.

Despite Foden pushing for a return to the squad after regaining his top condition at Manchester City, and Bellingham having returned for Real Madrid following shoulder surgery, the head coach has decided against including two of the nation's biggest offensive stars. The young midfielder has started just a single time for his club since his return.

Tuchel has found space for the Arsenal winger, who is fully recovered and has been restored in place of his unavailable Arsenal teammate Noni Madueke. The experienced attacker has not been handed a return to the squad.

The national team coach highlighted the energy in last month's squad and seems intent on maintaining the vibe. Tino Livramento, who featured at left-back in the convincing victory in Serbia, has been ruled out due to a knee injury. Tuchel has not called up a like-for-like substitute for the Newcastle player but has included the Manchester City defender, who had to withdraw previously. Tuchel has spoken about the Manchester City defender's significance for the national team and has floated the idea of deploying him in the middle of the park.

No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was selected last month but withdrew injured and was substituted by the Milan player.

The manager stated: “A mere three weeks after the previous gathering and the last win, the latest display, so the consideration was why not bring the identical squad in because they established a benchmark. Now it is about building routines out of it. We have regrettably a couple of fitness issues at the moment with Tino and Madueke and we welcome of course Bukayo Saka in to replace Madueke. The defender was a last-minute addition previously; he will remain with the squad.”
