Actor Denies Anti-Vaccine Position Following Narrating Contentious Pandemic Film

Liam Neeson has lent his narration to a new documentary that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and lauds ex- health official RFK Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Basis

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a popular book co-authored by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the health crisis for allegations that the virus was linked to a bad strain of the influenza shot.

The publication's writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has penned books with controversial media personality the Infowars host. Heckenlively took to social media hailing Neeson's participation in the documentary.

An Unequivocal Statement

A spokesperson for the actor have provided a statement strongly denying implications that he holds anti-immunization views.

"Everyone can recognize that misconduct might be present within the medical sector, but that must not be confused with opposition to vaccines," the statement explains. "Liam never has been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His long work with Unicef reinforces his enduring support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The statement continued that the performer had no hand in the film's narrative and that inquiries about its content should be directed to the producers.

Central Claims In the Film

According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson makes several controversial claims:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "complete compliance" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "research has become highly influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is interviewed stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't properly vetted."
  • It takes aim at Covid lockdowns, saying they caused mental anguish that cost thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it cites a report that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Controversy and Ongoing Debates

It also references a 2004 BBC documentary about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the focus of a correction by the broadcaster for unbalanced reporting.

In recent weeks, the political figure called on the national health agency to alter its official position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is repeated in the documentary, contrary to a recent study from the WHO confirming no evidence has been found.

An Earlier Position of Support

Differing from the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly expressed strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

In 2022, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible achievement," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has lost sight of how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The film concludes with Neeson's voice saying, "This is not the finish of our story. Rather, it is the start of a new chapter."
